Here in Baldwin we got douched with about six inches of rain in a matter of three hours. That means that the room we just finished re-doing in the basement because of standing water, will have to have the linoleum rolled back up and dried out again. This also means I'm going to have to figure out where the water is coming in at and try fix that problem. The shitty thing? No insurance coverage. The damage should be pretty minimal compared to a lot of our neighbors. The yuppy behind my house was tearing everything out of his basement. My other neighbor, the bitch who probably called the cops on my dog, has it bad by the looks of her yard. I can't complain too much, it is shitty old carpet that needed an excuse to come out anyways. Not like my bosses place, where they just finished their basement and put new carpeting down. Sorry dude, that sucks. The other bad part of this is the beaver system in our basement is leaking and will have to be fixed somehow too. I have no idea how this will be done as I can't do shit for another three weeks or more. Well, that is all for my ranting on this subject. I have to go asses the damages and figure out where to start.
